1. Navigate to Assets > IT Asset Policies and select New from the right hand menu.
2. Name the policy and choose and asset type to use with this new policy.
3. IT Policies can be built from assigning a collection of rules to the individual police to drive an action. Select the rules you want associated with the IT Asset Policy by clicking Add and applying the rules required.

4 Create an action (usually by creating a recommendation), give that recommendation a name, a category, a description, and a unit cost (optional). Click Save to complete Policy Creation.
***Note: Leave budget values at zero if the cost may be variable from client to client. Budget can be updated as part of the customer review process.
