You can easily clone an existing policy for use with a different asset type or to modify for a similar use (ex. a 3year policy serves as the model for a 5 year with a couple of simple adjustments)
To clone a policy:
1. Select your policy you wish to clone choosing Assets > IT Asset Policies > [POLICY] and clicking on the policy hyperlink.
2. Select the Clone command to generate a copy of your selected policy
3. Edit your new policy to meet your requirements. This can be done by renaming the policy, changing the asset type, and/or adding and subtracting policy rules.
4. Your new policy is not ready for use.
