If you have issues signing in using Microsoft SSO, please take the following steps.  This article assumes the user accepted the launch banner upon the first login attempt.


Symptoms:  You may see one of the screens below if you are unable to login


1. You may be returned to the general login screen. 



2. You may get a failure notice.



Steps


This would have created an Enterprise Application in Active Director (Entra)

1. In Microsoft Entra an application called vCIOToolbox-Prod SSO should have been created.


2. Application permissions should look like this.



3. You should also confirm if you are seeing your account as a user in the application.



4. Confirm that the properties for the Enterprise App look like what is represented below. 



5. In vCIOToolbox, you should also see an SSO ID associated with your account.
