Once a user is invited to the customer portal, you can manage their access and profile inside your Administrative console.
Users are granted portal access through a couple of different system actions.
1. Being invited explicitly as a portal user via contacts
2. Being invited through the Assessment Delegate or Vendor Delegate process
Once granted access, the customer can change their password through a lost password request on the login page, but occasionally those emails may find their way to a spam filter and/or Outlook junk folder. If that occurs, you can manually change the password on behalf of the user.
1. Navigate to Admin > Users - Contacts from the left-hand menu and view all external user accounts.
2. Click on the user account that you wish to reset the password for.
3. You can then reset the customer password to a temporary password they can use to login.
Once in the portal, the user can change their password by following these instructions.
