It is easy to connect goals to strategies in vCIOToolbox. Follow the steps below to connect a goal to a recommendation.
A goal can be aligned with a project in two areas: the IT Review section and the Recommendations section.
IT Review Section
1. Connecting a goal in the IT Review section. Create the recommendation and then click on the Goals command.
2. Click on the Add icon
3. Connect to the Goals that support your recommendation.
Recommendations Section
1. Find the recommendation you wish to connect a goal(s) to and click Actions.
2. From the Actions dropdown, choose Goals.
3. Connect the Goals you wish to align with the recommendations.
4. The goals will then be connected to the Recommendation.
5. On the Strategy page, you will also see the connected project/service.
